![]() ![]() AFAIK, Those are broadcom special builds, not atheros. ![]() I noticed it started to act up real slow loading and not responsive. Yes but you must not have read what i replied to in the broadcom forum of your posting with this. I was using DD-WRT V24 SP1 STD flashed back to Linksys OEM to compare download speeds. ![]() Should i get the latest version? example, get build 12533 instead of any earlier one for my buffallo WZR-HP-G300NH Last edited by rz514 on Fri 4:45 edited 1 time in total So there is no need to buy an extra piece of software for the given router model."īut i cannot seem to find how to do this Per user bandwith control function. These models of the nfiniti series comes with a buffalo specific branding which contains the same abilities as our special edition. The thing is that when i emailed DD-WRT, they answered: Does this mean i cannot have the function of Per User bandwith control? Should i get the latest version? example, get build 12533 instead of any earlier one for my buffallo WZR-HP-G300NH - I just noticed on the DD WRT website it says "DD-WRT V24 Special for Broadcom based devices" - and i recently discovered it's not broadcom but atheros. So if i want to upgrade to the special version of DD-WRT to get the Per user bandwith control, i must get the v24 sp2 special build from what i understand. Right now i am running DD-WRT v24SP2-EU-US (08/19/10) std (SVN revision 14998) - I downloaded this from the Bufallo website, the description is "DD-WRT (Professional) firmware for the WZR-HP-G300NH" - so i thought this would be the profesional version like on the DD-WRT but i cannot find the Per User bandwith control so i assume it is not the same one that DD-WRT calls "special". Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ I been trying to edit useful infos to the wiki for this unit. Sp1 didn't support this unit i don't believe.Īlso the builds that come out for the WZR-HP-G300NH are basically the equivalent of the "mega" builds that come out for broadcom.
